Job summary

Rockwell Land Corporation is seeking a capable individual to oversee housekeeping operations and purchasing activities at our club facilities in the Philippines. The role includes managing housekeeping staff, coordinating inventories, and ensuring timely processing of payroll and supplier orders.

The candidate will help set up functions, assign tasks, and maintain schedules, while monitoring quality and implementing efficient procurement practices across departments.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all areas of the Club
• Assists with periodic linen and supply inventories
• Manage inventory for Housekeeping supplies and uniforms
• Routinely assigns projects and/or cleaning tasks to Housekeeping staff
• Ensure that payroll management procedures are submitted within deadlines
• Inspects assigned areas to ensure projects are completed and correct procedure used
• Assists with set up of functions in Meeting Rooms, Palm Grove & Loft at MA.
• Plan, assigns and directs the work of the Housekeeping staff
• Create a weekly departmental schedule and accommodate for unexpected absences
• In the absence of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager inspect all the areas of the Club including satellite gym.
• Working with the Assistant Purchasing & Housekeeping Manager to run the Purchasing & Housekeeping department
• Prepare Purchase Requests & Purchase Orders
• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
• Evaluate offers from vendors & negotiate better prices
• Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
• Ensure all products arrive in good condition
• Using quarterly and annual data to determine purchasing needs and performing inventory management
