Job summary

Robinsons Land Corporation seeks a Director of Engineering to oversee the maintenance and operation of all hotel facilities, ensuring safety and full functionality of building systems, guest rooms, and public areas.

You will lead preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets and capital projects, and supervise the engineering team while coordinating with other departments to support guest satisfaction and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field is preferred.
• Registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer required/licensed.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering or facilities experience in hotel/hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Check construction, renovation, and improvement projects for compliance with plans and standards.
• Conduct facility walkthroughs and address facility-related concerns.
• Oversee maintenance of hotel systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Develop and manage the engineering department budget.
• Control maintenance and utility costs while upholding quality standards.
