Job summary

Alta Vista de Boracay, managed by DMCI PDI Hotels, Inc, seeks a Hotel Engineer to oversee the technical maintenance of the property in Malay, Aklan. The successful candidate will be hired directly by DMCI PDI Hotels.

The role focuses on maintaining facilities, ensuring safety, and delivering quality technical services within agreed SLAs. Preference given to candidates with hospitality-maintenance experience and readiness to work on-site in Malay.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year experience as Duty Engineer in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of operating and maintaining property equipment.
• Willing to be assigned at Malay, Aklan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical maintenance and upkeep of the property and its facilities and equipment.
• Establish and implement maintenance strategies and protocols to ensure full operability and upkeep.
• Ensure upkeep of aesthetics and functionality by inspecting façade and structure.
• Attend to unit concerns and provide recommendations to resolve unit issues.
• Recommend programs and protocols to improve on-site equipment functionality.
• Ensure the property is safe from technical hazards and securely maintained at all times.
• Assist the Property Manager in community development programs.
• Deliver timely, high-quality technical services (within SLA) to property management.

JOB ROLES

• Oversee the technical maintenance and upkeep of the property and its facilities and equipment
• Establish and implement maintenance strategies and protocols to ensure that all facilities and equipment are fully operational and are well-kept
• Ensure the upkeep of the aesthetics and functionality of the property and its amenities and facilities by regularly inspecting the façade and structure
• Attend to unit concerns and provide recommendations in resolving unit issues
• Recommend programs, strategies, and protocols that will improve the functionality and maintenance of the equipment on site
• Ensure that the property is safe from technical hazards and dangers and is secured at all times
• Participate in establishing a healthy community relationship by assisting the Property Manager in the conduct of community development programs
• Achieve excellent customer experience by ensuring that the technical services of the property management office are delivered timely (within SLA) and with quality

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related courses
• With at least a year work experience as Duty Engineer in a hospitality industry
• Must have in depth knowledge and skills in operating and maintaining property equipment
• Willing to be assigned at Malay, Aklan
