Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. in Manila is seeking an assertive, dynamic individual to supervise and monitor Field Liaison Officers and Senior Liaison Officers in their areas of responsibility.

You will approve in-patient information sheets, track attendance, update JUNO, and ensure discharge data accuracy while providing training to staff. A 4-year medical degree and 2+ years of clinical/HMO experience are required.

• Education – Graduate of any 4 year Medical course.
• Excellent communication and empathic skills.
• Good negotiator, flexible and able to multi-task; analytic, systematic and organized.

Responsibilities

• Approves in-patients information sheet.
• Monitors activities of In-house Liaison Officer and Field Liaison Officers during weekends/holidays.
• Monitors activities of team; checks location of team members.
• Prepares, issues and signs LOAs; encodes and updates data into the system.
• Prepares and checks itinerary reports; ensures timely submission of paper works.
• Ensures discharge details are updated in JUNO; supports ISO audit documentation.

Supervises, assists and monitors, Field Liaison Officers and Seniors Liaison Officers in their areas of responsibility. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Approves in-patients information sheet.
• Monitors activities of In-house Liaison Officer during weekends or holidays.
• Monitors activities of Field Liaison Officer
• A. Date Gathering for in-patient: Status and Progress
• History of present illness
• Attending Physicians
• Procedure done
• Final Diagnosis
• Other confinement details
• B. Attendance and tardiness of team members
• C. Check the location of his / her team members
• D. Prepares, issues and signs LOAs
• E. Encoding and updating of data into system
• F. Prepares and checking of itinerary report.
• G. Timely submission / completeness / integrity and consistency of paper works
• H. Ensures that all discharge details are updates in JUNO.
• Mediates between approving officers and field liaison officers regarding in-patient approval status.
• Responsible for completeness of information / data needed for approval.
• Monitor team members where in all assigned areas are attended whether physically or via phone calls.
• Responsible for making sure that all admissions and discharges are known to head office.
• Provides assistance to Liaison Officer as needed for any concern that will arise
• Provides training to Liaison Officers.
• Responsible for creating harmony within the team for optimal productivity.
• Responsible for checking all documents needed for ISO audit. Performs other task which may be assigned from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education – Graduate of any 4 year Medical course
• Experience – At least 2 years’ experience in clinic setting or working in an HMO is an advantage.
• Other skills: With above average communication and empathic skills. Good negotiator, flexible and can do multi-tasking. Must be analytic, systematic and organized.
