Job summary

DCX is seeking a Home-Based Sales Assistant - Sourcing & Design to bridge creative design with product sourcing for a US-based boutique agency. You will research suppliers, curate collections, create branded visuals, and produce client-ready presentations to help close deals.

The role requires 2–5 years in promo products or related sales-support, strong English communication, and proficiency in Illustrator and MS Office. Remote work from the Philippines with US hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in marketing, Communications, Multimedia/Fine Arts, Business Admin, or related field.
• 2–5 years in promotional products, merchandising, or related sales-support roles.
• Strong English communication, verbal and written.
• Ability to work overnight or US hours from Philippine time.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with supplier networks such as ASI, PPAI, or similar platforms.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Source promotional products from key supplier networks matching client budgets.
• Build curated collections (mood boards, catalogs, decks) for review.
• Design and mockup branded visuals using Illustrator.
• Maintain relationships with vendor contacts for pricing and lead times.
• Support sales with proposal materials and client-ready presentations.
• Track requests and samples through to fulfillment with supplier coordination.
• Stay current on promo product trends to bring fresh ideas.

We are looking for a Home-Based Sales Assistant - Sourcing & Design to join a growing U.S.-based boutique marketing agency in the promotional products and branded merchandise industry. In this role, you will bridge creative design and product sourcing to support a client-facing sales team. This is not a purely administrative role: you will independently research suppliers, curate promotional product collections, create branded product mockups, and produce polished visual presentations that help close deals, turning client briefs into compelling, ready-to-present product offerings.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

• Organizational & Time Management – Effectively manages multiple sourcing requests, sample tracking, and presentation deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Attention to Detail – Maintains a high level of accuracy in product specs, pricing, PMS colors, logo placement, and brand guideline compliance.
• Communication Skills – Communicates clearly and professionally with suppliers, the sales team, and clients, both verbally and in writing.
• Problem Solving & Analysis – Turns rough client requests into the right product solutions, and identifies alternatives when budget, stock, or lead times don't fit.
• Creative Design & Sourcing Knowledge – Strong eye for design and product presentation, with working knowledge of vector artwork, Adobe Illustrator, and promotional product supplier networks.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Source promotional products from key supplier networks, identifying items that match client budgets, branding needs, and industry trends-
• Build curated collections of product offerings (mood boards, catalogs, presentation decks) for clients and the sales team to review and select from.
• Design and mockup branded product visuals using Adobe Illustrator, including logo placement, color proofs, and virtual samples-
• Maintain and expand relationships with vendor/supplier contacts to stay current on new products, pricing, and lead times.
• Support the sales team with proposal materials, pricing sheets, and client-ready presentations
• Track sourcing requests and product samples through to fulfillment, coordinating timelines with suppliers
• Stay current on promotional product trends to proactively bring fresh ideas to the sales team and clients

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Multimedia/Fine Arts, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in promotional products, merchandising, product sourcing, graphic design, or a related sales-support role.
• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.
• Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.
• Technical Skills:
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required, expert level not necessary); familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite tools is a plus.
  • Ability to identify vector vs. raster files and work with PMS color matching.
  • Experience sourcing from supplier/vendor networks (e.g., ASI, PPAI, or similar promotional product platforms).
  • Familiarity with promotional product distributor platforms such as SAGE, ESP, Distributor Central, or commonsku is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Gmail).
  • Familiarity with print/production proofing and international shipping/import logistics is an advantage.
  • Background in a boutique or full-service marketing/branding agency is a plus.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Salary Range: PHP 45,000 - 55,000
