DCX Client Services is hiring a Home-Based Pre-Production Artist in the Philippines. You will design mockups, vectorize logos, and produce decks from concept to delivery, ensuring brand consistency. This role emphasizes collaboration, multi-tasking, and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have a Graphic Design degree and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with strong English communication and the ability to work night shifts in Philippine time or US hours.

Responsabilités

• Mock up customer art proofs per work order instructions.
• Recreate customer artwork from low-quality bitmap to clean vector art.
• Adjust artwork to print correctly per order and template.
• Handle rushed orders and assist with questions from staff; multi-task as needed.
• Take occasional calls from customers.
• Learn product lines while understanding imprint areas and printing methods.
• Maintain professional relationships with team and customers.
• Keep open communication between supervisors and team members.
• Assist with other production art tasks as assigned.
• Learn and apply new art and design strategies.
• Coordinate with outsourced art teams when needed.
• Contribute to projects collaboratively or individually

The DCX Client Services - Home-Based Pre-Production Artist will provide support to our partner through day-to-day graphic support. You will be responsible for designing mockups, vectorizing logos, and producing presentation decks from their initial concept through to their final delivery. The production artist must be very collaborative and have excellent problem-solving abilities, all while maintaining consistency and the original brand look throughout the process.

Required core competencies

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creativity across different mediums
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism
• In-depth experience and an established track record in artwork design and finalization, with great attention to detail
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with a dynamic range of people

What you will do

• Mocks up all customer art proofs for customers per instructions from work order.
• Recreates customer artwork from a low-quality bitmap image into clean vector art
• Adjusts artwork to print correctly and accurately according to customer order and template
• After the initial training, the artist will work on mainly rushed orders, fielding art questions from internal employees, & helping delegate other rushed orders. These key responsibilities require the ability to multi-task.
• Taking calls from the customer occasionally (not required during non-US hours)
• Learns the company's extensive product line while following the capabilities and limitations of imprint areas and printing methods
• Maintains an effective professional working relationship with team members, other departments, and customers
• Keep and open line of communication between supervisors and other team members
• Answers questions for other production artists
• Performs jobs and additional tasks as assigned by Art Manager & Supervisor
• Continually learns, evaluates, and implements new art & design strategies
• Work with and give direction to additional outsourced art teams
• Helps with projects collaboratively or individually

What we look for

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
• Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Production Artist, or other relevant experience.
• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.
• Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe programs: specifically, Illustrator, Photoshop, & Acrobat Pro, Indesign
• Industry Specific Software/Knowledge: Technically savvy and have a solid understanding of file formats, image optimization techniques, and color management.
• Knowledge of the Embroidery process and familiarity with .dst files is a plus
• Experience working with adjusting artwork to print for various mediums
• Exceptional written, editing, verbal, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
