Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking a Customer Success Specialist to drive revenue and ensure customer satisfaction across home services. You will handle inbound and outbound inquiries via phone, chat, SMS, and email, resolve requests, and expand accounts with cross-sell opportunities.

In a fast-paced environment, you’ll achieve quotas, manage a high-volume calling routine, and collaborate with teammates to share best practices, while delivering exceptional experiences to Thumbtack users.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience, with 6 months inbound and/or outbound sales exposure, preferably in the BPO or Shared Services industry
• Proven experience in high-volume, revenue-driven sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
• English proficiency
• Collaborative attitude to share techniques and success with the team
• Prospecting and Pipeline Management experience

Responsibilities

• Listen to customer needs and provide the best solutions
• Maintain knowledge of Thumbtack products and services for home maintenance and repair projects
• Participate in at least 55 inbound and outbound calls per day to determine solutions
• Build rapport with customers and anticipate their needs
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products or services
• Active listening, probing, and providing recommendations
• Troubleshoot and resolve inquiries with de-escalation and strong problem-solving
• Proactively follow up with customers via SMS and/or email
• Maintain high-performance metrics: revenue attainment, quality, efficiency, CSAT, NPS
• Communicate trends and improvement ideas to relevant teams
• Make independent decisions aligned with customer and company needs
• Engage with teammates through development sessions and training
