Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking two experienced Mid Back-End Developers to lead end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software applications translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions for enterprise platforms.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, BAs and QA, provide mentorship, participate in architecture discussions, and support releases in a hybrid setup. A strong backend architecture and code quality background is essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Developer or technical lead in application development and software architecture.
Strong background in software design principles, testing strategies, deployment pipelines, and production support.
Ability to conduct code reviews, resolve complex production incidents, and optimize system performance.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Owners, BAs, QA) in an Agile/SDLC environment.
Solid communication skills with a track record of mentoring junior technical staff.
Willingness to work in a hybrid setup and accommodate on-call duties for production releases and support.

Responsibilities

Development & Architecture: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust software applications and services. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to established coding standards and best practices. Lead code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security.
System Design & Optimization: Participate in system architecture design, solution evaluation, and application performance tuning for maximum scalability and reliability.
Incident & Release Management: Troubleshoot complex application issues and production incidents. Support application releases, change management, and production deployments.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers. Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA teams across the software development lifecycle.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain clear documentation for system design, development, and deployment processes while recommending continuous process enhancements.
