Job summary

Commonwealth Foods, Inc. is seeking a Helper to assist the delivery team. The role involves delivering products, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring orders are packed securely for customers.

You will maintain courteous customer relations, secure client signatures, and prepare delivery records. You’ll report safety issues and incidents, and follow all company procedures for the Northern Samar route, reporting to the Tacloban City district office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and clients with salesman and driver.
• Load and unload the truck and secure items for delivery.
• Ensure all items for delivery are loaded safely and secured.
• Compile accurate delivery records and reports.
• Deliver orders on time and maintain courteous, professional customer relations.
• Obtain client signatures as acknowledgment of receipt of goods.
• Ensure stock transfer forms are original and untampered.
• Complete daily trip ticket and report incidents of loss or damage in transit.
• Report delivery problems to senior staff or Manager.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Willing to work on the Northern Samar route and report to the San Jose District office in Tacloban City.
• This is a full-time direct hire position.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities of a Helper

Helper works with salesman and driver to deliver products to customers and clients.

Helpers are responsible for all tasks such as loading and unloading the truck.

Responsible to assure that all item for delivery is safely loaded and secured.

Compiling accurate delivery records and reports.

Responsible to ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and professional manner.

Obtaining clients’ and customers’ signatures as an acknowledgment of having received the delivered products.

Ensures all documents (stock transfer forms) turned in are original and not tampered;

Completes the daily trip ticket including submitting timely report of incidents of lost, stolen or damaged goods while in transit.

Reporting all delivery-related problems to senior staff or Manager.

Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Applicants must be willing to work in Northern Samar route and will report to the company's district office located at San Jose District, Tacloban City.
