Job Description

• A Food Attendant/Helper is responsible for providing friendly customer service in a food service setting. They assist in preparing, serving, and maintaining the cleanliness of the food and dining area, aiming to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, answer questions about the menu or daily specials.
• Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to any dietary needs.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, chairs, floors, and related areas; wash dishes and utensils as needed.
• Order Management: Take orders and relay them to the kitchen staff; assist with basic POS duties if applicable.
• Cash Handling: Process payments and provide correct change when required.
• Food Preparation Assistance: Assist with simple food preparation or display setup as needed.
• Inventory and Safety: Monitor basic inventory of supplies and ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are followed.
