Job Title: General Merchandise Store Helper

A General Merchandise Store Helper typically assists with a variety of tasks related to stocking, organizing, and maintaining products in a retail store.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and Organizing: Assist in stocking shelves, ensuring products are properly labeled and placed. Organize merchandise on sales floors and in storage areas. Ensure shelves are neat and fully stocked, checking for inventory levels.
• Customer Assistance: Help customers locate products and answer basic questions about items in the store. Provide excellent customer service and direct inquiries to appropriate staff when needed.
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and unloading deliveries. Help with inventory checks and maintain product counts. Report stock shortages or damaged goods to management.
• Sales Support: Support store displays, helping to set up promotional or seasonal arrangements. Assist in cleaning and maintaining the sales floor, ensuring a tidy shopping environment.
