Job summary

BUILDRIGHT CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate machinery (backhoe, excavator, loader, bulldozer) on construction sites in Metro Manila. You will perform pre-operation checks, follow site instructions, and maintain equipment, while coordinating with site personnel and completing operation logs.

The role requires safety-minded individuals with TESDA NC II in Heavy Equipment Operation or equivalent, willingness to work overtime, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• With TESDA NC II in Heavy Equipment Operation or relevant certification.
• With experience operating heavy equipment is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and basic equipment inspection.
• Capable of working in a construction site environment.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
• Willing to work overtime and/or be assigned to different project sites.
• Valid driver's license and relevant licenses/certifications, if applicable, are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoe, excavator, loader, bulldozer, or other construction machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform equipment operations according to project requirements and instructions from the Site Engineer/Supervisor.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and report any mechanical issues, damage, or abnormalities immediately.
• Ensure proper handling and operation of equipment to prevent accidents, property damage, and unnecessary equipment wear.
• Assist in excavation, loading, hauling, grading, backfilling, and other construction-related activities as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic care of the assigned equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies, site rules, and proper operating procedures.
• Coordinate with workers, operators, and site personnel during equipment operations.
• Accomplish equipment operation logs, checklists, and other required reports.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
