Job summary

Snapscale is seeking a reliable Healthcare Virtual Assistant to support a US-based Direct Primary Care practice. You will handle referral coordination, prior authorizations, insurance tasks, and patient follow-ups, working onsite in Davao City.

The role requires strong English communication, meticulous attention to detail, and experience with EMR/EHR systems. This is an on-site position with opportunities for career growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Healthcare Virtual Assistant or similar healthcare role.
• Familiarity with insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient referrals from assignment through completion.
• Process and coordinate prior authorization requests.
• Track open referrals and authorizations.
• Follow up with insurance companies and referral partners as needed.
• Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization.
• Communicate with patients regarding status of referrals and authorizations.
• Update patient records in the EMR.
• Provide additional healthcare administrative support.
