Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Head of Software Development to lead a dynamic team in building scalable cloud-enabled FinTech platforms. You will drive architectural decisions, oversee API and microservices strategies, and modernize data platforms while implementing robust DevOps practices.

You will report directly to the CTO and help shape the company’s technology roadmap, aligning cross-functional teams with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in engineering leadership and software development management.
• Strong background in cloud architecture, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Experience with API development, microservices, and scalable system design.
• Knowledge of FinTech systems, data platforms, and platform modernization.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, or Node.js.
• Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing development team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the software development team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable platforms and systems.
• Oversee cloud architecture initiatives using AWS or Azure to ensure robust and secure infrastructure.
• Drive API development and microservices strategies to support seamless integration across platforms.
• Manage the development and modernization of FinTech systems and data platforms.
• Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership in Java, .NET, Node.js, and other relevant programming languages.
• Develop strategies for system scalability, performance optimization, and platform modernization.
