Job summary

RCBC is seeking a Platform Engineering Department Head to lead the bank's end-to-end platform strategy, oversee design, deployment, and governance of core technology platforms, and drive enterprise DevOps across IT functions.

You will shape Platform-as-a-Service offerings, implement CI/CD, IaC, and observability, and mentor a team of Platform Engineers, DevOps Architects, and SREs to improve software quality and time-to-market.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
At least 15 years in IT with 5+ years leadership in Platform Engineering/DevOps/SRE.
Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift), and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Excellent communication, decisiveness, and people development.

Responsibilities

Lead Platform Engineering Strategy and Governance for core technology platforms and DevOps framework.
Oversee architectural design, security, and regulatory compliance, including MORB and MTPP considerations.
Drive CI/CD, automation testing strategies, and observability with modern cloud tech and IaC.
Mentor and develop a high-performing Platform Engineering/DevOps/SRE team and set metrics to improve performance.
