Job summary

Maybank is seeking a Head of Loan Documentation Review and Registration to oversee the unit’s daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate documentation for consumer and corporate loans. You will manage collateral document registration, coordinate with Legal, Credit Risk Management, and other stakeholders, and drive process improvements to boost efficiency and service quality.

The role requires a strong background in documentation and compliance review, familiarity with MOS and loan servicing

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year business-related course, preferably Accounting or Banking & Finance.
• Strong background in documentation and compliance review for loan products.
• Familiarity with MOS and loan servicing platforms; proficient in loan processing and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the unit and ensure timely, accurate documentation for consumer and corporate loans.
• Manage registration and monitoring of collateral documents and ensure legal sufficiency.
• Coordinate with Business, Legal, Retail Credit Center, and Credit Risk Management on documents.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team and supervise day-to-day transactions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline loan administration workflows and best practices.
