Job summary

Surubana Jurong Manila seeks a Design Unit Manager to lead a team of design engineers, BIM modellers, and CAD specialists in delivering high-quality coastal and marine structures. You will oversee design management, QA procedures, and client engagements, ensuring timely project delivery under tight deadlines.

The role requires a civil engineering degree with 10+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or reclamation, proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Plaxis, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in civil engineering from recognised university.
• At least ten years of relevant civil engineering experience in large scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience in design management and QA procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Design Engineers, BIM Modellers, and CAD Specialists.
• Ensure design production meets QA standards and project deadlines.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, construction management, and project control teams.
• Prepare and review design submissions for clients and authorities.
