Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Director of Data Asset Management in a hybrid role based in the Philippines. You will lead the end-to-end data lifecycle, drive data acquisition, governance, quality and strategic partnerships while collaborating with global teams to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• CDMP Certified.
• 8+ years of experience in data management, data strategy, or analytics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in credit reporting or the financial services industry.
• Deep understanding of sourcing data, ingestion pipelines, data quality frameworks, software development, DB structures and governance best practices.
• Experience working with regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, facilitation and negotiation skills are required.
• Operates independently and proactively, applying strong business acumen to convert data capabilities into measurable commercial outcomes.
• Provides strategic direction, coaches and mentors associates across managerial and technical levels.
• Embed compliance by design through upfront validation, controls, and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of data acquisition and end-to-end data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to drive data innovation and quality.
• Define vision and strategy for the data asset management division aligned with enterprise goals.
• Oversee data operations, governance, metadata management and KPI monitoring.
• Lead vendor management and commercial negotiations for data providers.
• Mentor a team of data professionals and foster cross-functional collaboration with executives and stakeholders.
