Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Director of Data Asset Management to lead data acquisition, governance, and lifecycle management across global and APAC regions. You will set vision, align data investments with business priorities, and partner with data science, product and technology teams.

The role requires 8+ years in data leadership, strong compliance awareness, and proven ability to drive data-driven commercial outcomes. Hybrid work with regular in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data management, data strategy, or analytics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in credit reporting or the financial services industry
• Deep understanding of sourcing data, ingestion pipelines, data quality frameworks, software development, DB structures and governance best practices.
• Experience working with regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Strong leadership, communication, facilitation and negotiation skills are required

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end data lifecycle with emphasis on data acquisition, governance and quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and global teams to drive data innovation and operational excellence.
• Oversee data providers, ingestion, monitoring, issue resolution and optimization.
• Provide strategic direction and mentorship to data professionals across managerial and technical levels.
• Establish and monitor data quality metrics, governance frameworks and KPIs.
