Job summary

Coins.ph is seeking a Head of Trade to lead the company’s trading strategy and operations in the Philippines. You will oversee spot and derivatives activity, liquidity management, and system optimization while driving risk controls and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in digital asset trading with 5+ years in a leadership role, proven ability to grow trading volume, and strong cross‑functional collaboration across compliance, risk, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of digital asset trading experience with 5+ years in senior trading team management.
• Deep understanding of digital asset markets, liquidity management, and risk control.
• Strong leadership, risk control capabilities, and familiarity with global regulatory requirements (FATF, MiCA, etc.).
• Proficient in English and Chinese; excellent communication with senior management and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Formulate trading strategy and business roadmap; align with development goals.
• Oversee trading operations: order matching, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Manage liquidity, coordinate with liquidity providers, optimize depth and stability.
• Lead trading risk management: monitor indicators, set controls, and mitigate issues.
• Build and develop a high‑performance trading team and ensure regulatory compliance.
