Job summary

City Savings Bank, Inc. seeks an experienced Head of Credit Risk Management to develop and implement policies, procedures and strategies for the bank's risk framework.

You will oversee risk measurement models, credit scoring, ECL and stress testing, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal risk appetite. You will lead a team, drive portfolio quality, perform credit reviews and provide senior management with actionable insights to minimize default risk while maintaining growth

Qualifications

• Degree in mathematics, statistics, finance or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in credit risk management.
• Experience with statistical tools such as R and Python.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and recommends policies to manage aggregate credit risk exposure.
• Develops tools to measure portfolio credit risk exposures like credit scoring.
• Monitors and recommends adjustments to credit risk models used for business decisions.
• Assesses and monitors credit risk weighted exposure used in capital management.
• Ensures accurate estimation and monitoring of expected credit losses for provisioning.
• Provides recommendations to management and board committees on high-risk exposures.
• Performs unbiased assessment of credit portfolio quality and loan losses.
• Manages day to day activities of credit risk personnel, including training.
