Job summary

HRTx Inc. seeks a Cost Accounting Head (CPA) to lead and oversee the company’s cost accounting for a fast-growing restaurant and FMCG business.

This on-site role drives cost strategies, inventory valuation, and profitability reporting in collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Production, and Finance leadership. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in cost accounting, 5+ years in leadership, CPA, and strong Excel/ERP (SAP) expertise, with experience across restaurant, FMCG, or manufacturing

Qualifications

• CPA is required and licensed.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership of a cost accounting function.
• At least 5 years of managerial or leadership experience in cost accounting or finance.
• Strong background in Cost Accounting within restaurant, FMCG, retail, manufacturing, or inventory-intensive industries.
• Proficiency in standard costing, product costing, BOM, inventory accounting, variance analysis, cost allocation, and profitability analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the cost accounting function across multiple units, locations, and operations.
• Establish, review, and improve cost accounting policies, methodologies, and internal controls.
• Oversee standard costing, product costing, BOM structures, production costing, and cost allocation methodologies.
• Analyze restaurant, commissary, manufacturing, and product costs to identify margin improvement opportunities.
• Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, movements, and monthly reconciliations.
• Review cost variances and advise corrective actions; develop cost and profitability reports for management.
