Job Summary

The Corporate Communications Assistant will support internal and external communications through content creation, research, media coordination, brand-aligned messaging, event support, and reporting, including expanding the company’s network of media, NGO, and LGU partners. This role reports to the Corporate Communications Supervisor to ensure all communications align with the department’s goals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Press Release and Content Creation
  • Write press release stories for company events, partnerships, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Draft executive messages and content for internal and external communications.
  • Stay updated on relevant industry news, trends, and stories to support timely and relevant messaging.
2. Partnership Research and Support
  • Assist in researching and profiling potential partners in media, NGOs, and LGUs.
  • Maintain and update partner databases, including contact details and engagement notes.
  • Support coordination and communication with existing partners.
3. Media Relations and Monitoring
  • Assist in media coordination, publicity tracking, and monitoring of published content.
  • Prepare basic media reports and documentation for the communications team.
4. Brand and Communications Support
  • Ensure all communication materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and approved messaging.
  • Support the execution of internal and external communications initiatives.
5. Events and CSR Support
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and documentation of corporate events and CSR activities.
  • Provide logistical and on-ground support during events and engagements.
6. Administrative and Team Support
  • Maintain trackers, content calendars, and communication files.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Corporate Communications team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 0 - 1 year of experience in PR, corporate communications, marketing, or related roles; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience in writing press releases, content scripts, executive messages, and other communication materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Basic understanding of media relations, branding, and corporate communications.
  • Strong research, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
