Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Philippines, Inc. seeks a Head of Commercial Supply Chain Management to align commercial, marketing and sales with end-to-end supply chain operations across the OPU.

You will drive product availability and cost efficiency through demand planning, logistics and customer service while ensuring GxP and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MSc/MBA is a plus.
• APICS certification is mandatory.
• PMI or Prince2 certification preferred.
• 5–8 years in supply chain management in life sciences; FMCG experience preferred.
• Proven leadership in a SCM environment.
• Data analytics proficiency for SCM decisions.
• Strong knowledge of trade regulations and 3rd‑party logistics/warehousing.
• Robust understanding of financial planning and impact on P&L.

Responsibilities

• Balance supply chain costs, product availability and inventory levels.
• Coordinate replenishment planning to the OPU.
• Manage supply planning for locally sourced finished goods.
• Promote CSCM talent development.
• Ensure performance management of direct reports.
• Launch/change coordination of CSCM workflows.
• Collect CSC application requirements and coordinate with RA/TA/Controlling to the ROPU Head.
• Coordinate with local team on launch plan and monitor logistics milestones.
• Own local S&OP process to conduct demand/supply review and portfolio management.
• Ensure master data accuracy and portfolio segmentation.
• Act as Export Control Expert as necessary.

The Position

Shape the future of supply chain excellence while driving business growth.

As the Head of Commercial Supply Chain Management, you will lead the integration of commercial, marketing, and sales strategies with end-to-end supply chain operations across the OPU. You will drive product availability and cost efficiency through effective demand planning, logistics, and customer service management while ensuring compliance with GxP, regulatory, and commercial requirements. As a key business partner, you will build and develop a high-performing commercial supply chain organization that enables the achievement of (R)OPU sales objectives and supports sustainable business growth.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the balancing of supply chain costs, product availability and inventory levels

• Coordinate replenishment planning activities to the OPU

• Manage supply planning for locally sourced finished goods

• Promote Commercial Supply Chain Management (CSCM) talent development

• Ensure performance management of direct reports to enable strong CSCM performance

• Launch/change coordination of related CSCM workflows

• Collect the requirements for the CSC application and coordinate different functions (RA,TA, Controlling) and forward to ROPU Head of CSCM

• Collect and coordinate with local team on the launch plan-Monitor the timely completion of SLCI workitems/logistics milestones

• Own local sales and operations planning process to conduct demand/ supply review and portfolio management (complexity reduction) with business, regulatory, finance and quality management

• Ensure correct master data in various systems and conduct annual portfolio segmentation and derive parameterization strategies

• Act as Export Control Expert as deem necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; master’s degree (MSc) or MBA is an advantage

• Mandatory Certification: APICS or equivalent

• Preferred Certification: PMI or Prince 2

• Minimum 5-8 years of supply chain management experience in life science industry, Ideally, with some experience of supply chain management experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) type business

• Proven leadership skills within a supply chain environment

• Professional level of downstream supply chain management including data analytics

• Profound knowledge of trade regulations and management of 3rd party logistics and warehousing provides

• Robust knowledge of financial business planning and impact of supply chain cost towards income statement and balance sheet
