We are looking for an exceptional Head of Brand & Creative Design to lead the creative direction, visual identity, and design standards of our portfolio of food and beverage brands.
This individual must have a strong creative eye, a deep understanding of modern design trends, and the ability to translate brand strategy into compelling visual experiences that appeal to today's consumers, particularly younger generations.
The role oversees the full spectrum of creative design, including graphic design, photography, videography, advertising content, packaging, menus, store visuals, website design, and mobile application UX/UI.
Beyond producing attractive designs, the successful candidate must understand what makes a brand visually appealing, contemporary, distinctive, and commercially effective. They must establish clear creative standards, lead internal designers and external agencies, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creative Direction & Brand Identity
- Establish the overall creative direction and visual identity of each brand.
- Develop contemporary, distinctive, and commercially relevant visual concepts that appeal to younger consumers.
- Ensure consistency across all marketing materials, campaigns, packaging, menus, stores, websites, and digital platforms.
- Modernize brand identities and identify opportunities to improve the visual appeal and relevance of our brands.
- Establish brand guidelines, design standards, and quality-control processes.
2. Graphic Design & Marketing Content
- Direct the design of advertisements, promotional posters, social media creatives, menus, product launches, in-store displays, and other marketing materials.
- Ensure that creative output is visually compelling, well-composed, on-brand, and appropriate for its intended audience.
- Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling that make our products more desirable and our promotions more effective.
- Establish high standards for typography, layout, color, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Review and improve the quality of designs produced by the internal team and external agencies.
3. Photography, Videography & Content Direction
- Direct product photography and videography to ensure our food, beverages, and brands are presented attractively.
- Develop creative briefs, visual references, mood boards, and shot lists for photoshoots and video productions.
- Ensure food photography looks appetizing, premium, and commercially appealing.
- Guide the creation of contemporary content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Identify emerging visual trends and translate them into content appropriate for each brand.
- Oversee the design and visual quality of company websites, mobile applications, ordering platforms, and other digital customer touchpoints.
- Improve UX/UI design, navigation, customer journeys, information hierarchy, and ease of use.
- Ensure app icons, interfaces, buttons, menus, and digital assets look professional and contemporary.
- Work closely with IT teams, developers, and source external partners when needed to translate design concepts into functional digital products.
- Use customer feedback, usability testing, and relevant performance data to identify and prioritize improvements.
5. Store Design & Physical Brand Experience
- Establish creative direction for store interiors, signage, menu boards, promotional posters, wall graphics, and other in-store visual elements.
- Ensure that the physical store experience reflects the intended brand positioning and appeals to the target market.
- Develop standards for visual merchandising and the placement of promotional materials.
- Collaborate with operations, architects, contractors, and store development teams to ensure design quality and practical execution.
- Lead, develop, and set performance standards for graphic designers, content creators, photographers, and other creative personnel.
- Build an effective creative workflow, from briefing and concept development through execution and final approval.
- Manage external creative agencies, photographers, production teams, and specialist design partners.
- Provide clear creative direction and constructive feedback to improve the team's output.
- Establish approval processes that maintain high standards without unnecessarily slowing down execution.
- Ensure creative work supports brand positioning, product appeal, customer engagement, store traffic, and sales.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, R&D, and product teams on campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives.
- Evaluate creative performance using relevant metrics, including engagement, conversion, campaign performance, and customer feedback.
- Balance creative excellence with commercial objectives, production costs, and operational practicality.

- A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent taste, contemporary visual design, branding, and creative direction.
- Experience in food and beverage, restaurants, cafés, retail, lifestyle, advertising, or consumer brands is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience directing photography, videography, and digital content production.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and experience working on websites, mobile applications, or digital customer journeys.
- Experience with packaging, menus, store visuals, and integrated marketing campaigns.
