Job summary

SSL 888 Motorcycle Parts & Accessories and Bakers Champ is seeking a Head of Accounting & Finance to lead both companies' finance teams and drive accurate reporting, strong controls, and strategic financial guidance. You will partner with the CFO and President, translating data into actionable insights to boost profitability and cash flow.

The role requires 5–8 years in accounting/finance with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, and a CPA is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group Accounting & Finance function for SSL 888 and Bakers Champ.
• Establish clear financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting standards.
• Provide the CFO and President with timely and accurate financial information.
• Serve as a financial business partner to Operations, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, and other departments.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial closing for both companies.
• Lead the annual budgeting process for SSL 888 and Bakers Champ.
• Monitor daily/weekly cash position and prepare rolling cash-flow forecasts.
• Strengthen financial controls and monitor cash handling, bank reconciliation, payment approvals, and related processes.
• Ensure timely BIR compliance, VAT, withholding tax requirements, and tax payments and filings.
• Review branch-level P&L, identify profitable and underperforming branches, and monitor inventory value and turnover.

About the role

The Head of Accounting & Finance – Group is responsible for leading the Accounting and Finance function of SSL 888 Motorcycle Parts & Accessories and Bakers Champ, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, effective cash management, financial planning, regulatory compliance, and timely management information. The position serves as the key financial partner to the CFO and President, translating financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations that support profitability, cash flow, operational efficiency, investment decisions, and sustainable growth. The Head will oversee the existing Accounting & Finance team and ensure that the department operates with clear accountability, standardized processes, strong controls, and timely reporting. This position is expected to move the organization beyond simply recording transactions and preparing financial statements toward proactive financial management.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is strongly preferred.
• At least 5–8 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Experience managing accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting and taxation.
• Experience with financial reporting and budgeting.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with accounting systems/ERP is preferred.
