Job summary

Blue Alliance Marine Protected Areas is seeking hands-on hatchery operators for our Aquahub Philippines operations. You will assist hatchery operations, monitor water quality, maintain biosecurity, and follow SOPs to support quarantine, broodstock, spawning, larval rearing, and lab tasks.

We value a diploma or degree in aquaculture or related fields, 1-3 years of experience, and strong teamwork with good English and Filipino communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Marine Biology, Animal Science or related field.
• 1-3 years of practical hatchery or aquaculture experience preferred; fresh graduates with training welcome.
• Good teamwork and communication skills, with written and spoken English and Filipino.
• Willingness to learn hatchery systems, follow SOPs, and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily hatchery operations including quarantine, broodstock management, spawning, larval rearing, and nursery production.
• Prepare and maintain live feeds (microalgae, rotifers, Artemia) and lab activities.
• Monitor water quality and biosecurity; record production and observations.
• Collaborate with hatchery staff to meet production targets and participate in training.
