Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Data Integration Developer to join the BI Delivery and Operations team. You will work with data analysts and engineers on analytics projects, contributing to ETL design, data mapping, and reporting for internal customers.

You will engage in data acquisition, modeling, and design tasks, and help maintain documentation while supporting ITSM activities and on-call incidents as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in SAP technology such as SAP BW/4HANA (Primary skill set) and SAP BOBJ (Secondary Skill set).
• Core BI experience with SAP BI/BW, BW/4HANA development and production support.
• Desirable SAP BOBJ development and production support experience.
• ETL: SAP BODS (desirable).
• CDS views development in S/4 HANA (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide support related to data analytics, business reporting projects including prototyping, testing, and design.
• Support global business functions for key reporting/analytics deliverables.
• Be involved with data acquisition, modeling and mapping, and some design and analysis tasks.
• Perform new Data Source Evaluation, Data Cleansing and Preparation, ETL Development, Testing and Maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical/end-user documentation for integrations and applications.
• Support Incidents, Requests and ITSM life cycle activities.
• Automate repetitive tasks.
• Be available for on-call schedule to address incidents and requests.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
