Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control specialist to strengthen halal compliance in our manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes inspections, material sampling, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, and HAS standards.

Fresh graduates or those with relevant QA/QC experience are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Halal systems is a plus, and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with shifting schedules is required.

Qualifications

• Strong background in HALAL and quality assurance practices.
• Fresh graduates or graduates with relevant manufacturing or quality control experience encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Halal Assurance System (HAS) and quality control procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Inspect delivery vehicles to ensure compliance with quality, sanitation, and food safety requirements.
• Perform sampling and inspection of incoming packaging materials and other incoming materials per quality procedures.
• Conduct in-process inspections to verify product specifications, packaging quality, product weight, and production compliance.
• Perform routine calibration and verification of weighing scales and other measuring equipment.
• Carry out Vitamin A fortification activities and other QC processes per approved procedures.
• Inspect finished products prior to packing and identify non-conforming materials and products.
• Monitor product traceability and proper handling, storage, and identification of materials.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
