Job summary

The Moment Group is seeking a proactive dining host to welcome guests, seat them, and take orders in the dining section. You will memorize the menu, suggest appetizers and drinks, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for prompt service, and help keep the dining area neat. You may also set tables and prepare for events.

The role requires good communication, teamwork, and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate or undergraduate of any hospitality course.
• Proven experience in the position of interest.
• Good communication and memorization skills.
• Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Willingness to work on a shifting schedule.
• Willingness to perform additional duties to facilitate operations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat diners comfortably in the dining section
• Take customers' food and drink orders
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
• Memorize the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock
• Deliver a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
• Assist with tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
• Set tables and rearrange the dining area to accommodate larger groups
• Prepare the restaurant for special events
