Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking a Marketing Ops Associate to build and run impactful campaigns and develop technical skills with automated marketing tools. You will support engagement and sales marketing operations, focusing on email, push, and in-app campaigns, with potential expansion across the integrated marketing team.

You will work with the Growth Marketing team to design, build, and operate world-class marketing programs, while collaborating with Creative for consistent messaging.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of marketing experience, especially lifecycle/engagement marketing or marketing ops.
• Experience with ESPs or marketing automation tools (Iterable or Pardot a plus).
• Ability to learn new processes and technologies quickly.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute marketing campaigns across email, push, in-app messaging, and other marketing channels.
• Run A/B tests across campaigns to identify key levers of growth that we can scale across the program.
• Help report on the impact of engagement programs, using learnings to iterate and make improvements.
• Enforce marketing messaging best practices across all channels.

• Constantly optimize our marketing operations processes for more efficient and seamless campaign deployment.

About The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Ops Associate who is excited to build out impactful marketing campaigns while developing their technical skills in working with automated marketing tools. As part of the Growth Marketing team, you\'ll be centrally involved in engagement and sales marketing operations – focused on implementation and execution of email, push and in-app campaigns. Our team\'s scope is increasing this year as we start to support the full integrated marketing team so we expect there may be opportunities for this role to take on tasks outside of what is directly described below. We are looking for someone eager to help design, build, and operate world-class marketing programs.

What You’ll Do

In order to be successful, you must bring

• Ability to pick up new processes and technologies quickly
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Precise attention to detail
