Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in retail sales with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a retail environment.
• Strong leadership to motivate, inspire and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse customers and staff.
• Sound knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate retail sales staff to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
• Provide coaching, training and development support to team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
• Ensure the retail environment is well-maintained, visually appealing and compliant with company standards.
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation and product displays to maximise sales opportunities.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate targets, celebrate achievements and address performance concerns.
• Recruit, interview and onboard new team members as required.
• Report on sales performance, customer feedback and operational issues to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant retail regulations.
