Job summary

Verkada’s Growth Ops team is seeking a data-driven leader to leverage data and technology to help our marketing team work smarter, faster, and more effectively. This role requires fluency in SQL and data visualization, and the ability to contextualize work within business goals.

The position reports to the Director of Data Science & Analytics and requires on-site presence at our San Mateo HQ, collaborating with senior leadership to drive growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years of expertise in quantitative analysis with the ability to generate insights from data.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Demonstrated track record in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Pull together datasets with strong SQL and statistical analyses using R or Python.
• Build revenue optimization models and set KPI targets from in-house data.
• Partner with stakeholders across units to align marketing initiatives with corporate goals.
• Establish and communicate clear, actionable KPIs to guide performance and inform executives.
• Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to influence growth funnel decisions.
