Job summary

FTC Group of Companies Corporation seeks an experienced Accounting Head to lead the Group’s accounting operations and provide strategic financial support to the CFO. Based at FTC Tower, Davao City, the role emphasizes accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will oversee month-, quarter-, and year-end closings, ensure compliance with PAS, PFRS, BIR, and SEC, and coordinate with auditors and banks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
3–4 years progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of PAS, PFRS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Experience in financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing, budgeting, cash flow management, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Group’s accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Review financial statements, schedules, reconciliations, and management reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Strengthen internal controls and identify financial and operational risks.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government agencies.
Support management in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting systems, and operational efficiency.
Provide accurate financial insights to support business planning and decision-making.
