Job summary

TOA Global in Clark, Philippines, seeks a meticulous Group Accountant to manage consolidated group reporting, intercompany recharges, and tax compliance. Starting onsite during probation, you will transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days at home) while ensuring accurate ledgers and timely statements.

You’ll collaborate with onshore managers, maintain documentation, and support the Accounts Payable Manager, building strong stakeholder relationships across the group.

Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Experience with Australian accounting standards preferred.
  • Qualification in Bookkeeping or Degree in Accounting desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Group financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank/GL reconciliations.
  • Manage intercompany recharge records and annual Group fee invoices.
  • Assist with tax compliance and cash flow projections.
  • Support Accounts Payable Manager with administrative tasks and system implementations.
  • Build relationships with Group staff and deliver regular status updates.

We are seeking a collaborative, detail-driven Group Accountant to join our team. In this key financial role, you will manage consolidated communications, prepare group financial reports (P&L and Balance Sheet), handle intercompany recharges and billing, perform bank and general ledger reconciliations, and ensure statutory tax compliance (Activity Statements). Starting onsite during your probation period to ensure seamless onboarding, you will transition into a flexible hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days at home, with Wednesday as the team anchor day) while collaborating closely with key group stakeholders and onshore managers to maintain financial integrity.

Your Impact
Group Financial Reporting & Ledger Maintenance:

Prepare Group financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss), perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and execute recurring bank and general ledger reconciliations.

Intercompany & Recharge Management:

Issue annual Group fee invoices, post incoming intercompany payments, manage credit card reconciliations, and clear intercompany recharge records in a timely manner.

Tax Compliance & Cash Flow Support:

Assist with the preparation and lodgment of Activity Statements, cash flow management, cash projections, and debtor/creditor oversight.

Operational & Administrative Collaboration:

Manage the Group inbox and communications, provide dedicated administrative support to the Accounts Payable Manager, and assist with system application implementations.

Stakeholder Relationships & Reporting:

Build strong relationships across key Group staff members, maintain accurate file documentation, and deliver regular weekly and monthly status updates.

What You Bring
The Experience:

Prior hands-on experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, with demonstrated skill in managing general ledgers, reconciliations, and intercompany accounts. Experience with Australian accounting standards is preferred.

Credentials & Qualifications:

Qualification in Bookkeeping or a Degree in Accounting (desirable).

Software Competency:

Practical proficiency with Xero and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting and financial analysis.

Core Capabilities:

High attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, data entry accuracy, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet strict operational deadlines.

Communication & Collaboration:

Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships, work independently, and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
