Job Description
We are looking for a talented and commercially minded Graphic Designer to help bring the company's brand to life across every customer touchpoint. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level designer who can combine strong visual taste with executional discipline.
You will produce high-quality creative assets across digital, print, packaging, ecommerce, retail, and trade channels. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the company presents as a premium, trustworthy, and design-led brand, while clearly communicating product benefits, safety credentials, and quality craftsmanship to parents and retail partners.
This role suits someone who is hands-on, highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving consumer brand environment.
Brand & Creative Execution
- Create compelling on-brand creative assets across all major channels including website, ecommerce, email, social media, paid ads, printed collateral, packaging, POS, catalogues, and trade materials.
- Maintain a premium and consistent visual identity across company’s product categories including mattresses, nursery furniture, bedding, bassinets, changing, and travel.
- Translate brand strategy, product positioning, and campaign briefs into effective creative concepts and polished final artwork.
- Help evolve and refine the company’s visual language while staying aligned with established brand guidelines.
Ecommerce & Digital Design
- Design digital assets for product launches, promotional campaigns, seasonal campaigns, website landing pages, banner sets, email campaigns, and marketplace or retailer listings.
- Support the optimisation of ecommerce conversion through strong visual hierarchy, clear product storytelling, and customer-first design.
- Create image suites and visual content that communicate product features, benefits, materials, dimensions, and safe-use messages clearly and credibly.
- Collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams to deliver creative that supports growth, engagement, and sales performance.
Product & Packaging Design Support
- Design or update packaging artwork, instruction manuals, product inserts, swing tags, spec sheets, and product information collateral.
- Ensure artwork is accurate, production-ready, and aligned with legal, safety, and product compliance requirements.
- Support photography direction, image retouching, and post-production where required to ensure BabyRest products are presented at a premium standard.
- Retail, Trade & Channel Support
- Develop assets for retail partners and stockists including POS materials, promotional creative, web tiles, digital catalogues, launch packs, brochures, and signage.
- Adapt creative for different retailer formats while protecting brand consistency.
- Support trade events, showroom materials, wholesale presentations, and launch toolkits as required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, ecommerce, and sales teams to understand priorities and deliver effective creative solutions.
- Interpret briefs well, ask smart questions, and manage multiple projects with speed and accuracy.
- Liaise with external suppliers, printers, photographers, and agencies where needed.
- Contribute ideas that improve creative quality, workflow efficiency, and brand execution.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Major in Multimedia, or Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a graphic design role, ideally within consumer products, retail, ecommerce, interiors, nursery, lifestyle, furniture, or homeware
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both digital and print design capability.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, image selection, and premium brand presentation.
- Experience preparing production-ready artwork for print and packaging.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Advanced experience with the following software:
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro or After Effects
- Canva
- Microsoft: PowerPoint
Desirable but not essential.
- Shopify: CMS contentmanagement
- Meta Ads Manager and/or Google asset upload environments for campaign creative handoff
Highly Desirable
- Experience working with ecommerce brands and retail/wholesale channel assets.
- Exposure to packaging design and product marketing.
- Basic motion, video editing, or animation capability for digital content.
- Experience with Figma, Klaviyo, Shopify, Canva, or similar marketing and ecommerce tools.
- Product photography styling or art direction experience.
- Experience in a brand where trust, safety, and technical product messaging matter.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft programs
