Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to deliver compelling visuals across digital and print channels, supporting our brand, content, and marketing activities while collaborating with the global Graphics and Communications team.

You will report to the Senior Graphic Designer in the UK, work on multi-page documents such as bids, reports, and proposals, and ensure brand identity across all outputs using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• At least 3 years of proven graphic design experience.
• Ability to create layouts from creative briefs.
• Experience with multi-page documents like bids and reports.
• Experience preparing artwork for print production.
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong brand identity development and enforcement.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create artwork for print materials including flyers and banners.

Our engineering expertise spans all sectors of the construction industry, providing pragmatic and practical design solutions to ensure our projects are spatially and operationally efficient. Our design process fully considers the installation and maintenance requirements on site.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Graphic Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering creative content across our digital and print channels, supporting our brand, content, and commercial marketing activities while working closely with the wider global Graphics and Communications team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Produce graphic designs for digital materials, including bids, reports, brochures, presentations, company profiles, and social media posts.
• Create artwork for print materials, including flyers, brochures, and display banners.
• Report to the Senior Graphic Designer based in the UK.
• Work closely with the internal Graphic Design and Communications teams to create artwork with a consistent look and feel that meets the objectives of each brief.
• Adhere to the company’s brand identity and help ensure compliance with brand identity guidelines.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders, including Directors, to receive briefs and agree on achievable deadlines.
• Provide support and cover for other Graphic Design colleagues when required.
• Keep up to date with new technologies, software, and systems, and share knowledge with the wider Graphics team on new design techniques and innovative approaches to creative work.
• Bring creative flair to the team and contribute new ideas and approaches.
• Perform other reasonable duties as appropriate.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in graphic design.
• Demonstrable layout and graphic design skills, with the ability to work effectively from a creative brief.
• Proven experience working on multi-page documents, such as bid submissions, proposals, and reports.
• Experience preparing artwork for print production.
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience developing and working with brand identities, with the ability to maintain and enforce brand guidelines.
• Methodical, organised, and accurate, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise work, manage time effectively, multitask, and consistently meet deadlines.
