Job summary

Impact Promotional Products in Cebu City is seeking a creative designer to handle multiple briefs daily for an Australian merch business. You’ll create mockups in Illustrator, prep vector art, and build Canva presentations for quotes and campaigns.

You’ll support sales and marketing with banners, catalogues, and emails while establishing reusable templates. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and ClickUp and fluent English are essential for video calls and clear written communication.

Job description

You'll handle around three briefs a day for an Australian promotional merchandise business. Work varies between standalone mockups for client quotes, Creative Ideas sets (5-10 mockups presented in Canva presentations), website banners, email signatures, graphics and marketing material like catalogues for marketing campaigns.

You'll support sales, who need mockups to win work, and marketing, who need graphics and catalogues for campaigns.

Your first job is our brand kit: colours, typography, logo usage, banner and signature sizes, and template libraries in Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva.

Key responsibilities

• Product mockups using Illustrator's Mockup tool: bottles, mugs, pens, boxes, caps
• Vector artwork prep, spot colours and PMS matching
• Photoshop compositing for apparel and fabric drape: Smart Objects, displacement maps, blend modes
• Retouching supplier product images
• Building and maintaining brand kits and reusable templates in Canva
• Website banners, email signatures, catalogues and marketing graphics
• Managing all tasks and time tracking in ClickUp

Hours

8:30am to 5:30pm Australian Eastern Time, Monday to Friday, with a one hour lunch. This shifts with Australian daylight saving:

October to April: 5:30am to 2:30pm Manila time (lunch 10-11am)

April to October: 6:30am to 3:30pm Manila time (lunch 11am-12pm)

About you

• Advanced and fast in Illustrator: Mockup tool, vector prep, spot colours, PMS matching
• Proficient in Photoshop compositing and retouching
• Proper Canva experience with brand kits and reusable templates
• You know which tool suits the job, and build reusable templates instead of starting from scratch
• Quick to learn ClickUp
• Strong written English, fluent spoken English, comfortable on video calls

Adobe Firefly is available, but most of this work shouldn't need it. Credits are limited and reviewed monthly.

Your setup

• Your own computer: Windows 11 64-bit or macOS 13+, 8-core CPU or Apple Silicon, 32GB RAM, SSD with 100GB+ free, 24\" IPS monitor at 1920x1080 minimum. Two screens preferred, colour accuracy matters in our industry.
• Fibre at 50 Mbps down / 20 up, a backup connection, and a UPS for your router and modem. We'll ask what happens at your desk during a brownout.
