Job summary

Office Beacon Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Artist to join our team. You will develop production-ready layouts for plaques, awards, and plates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Sales directions and customer specifications.

Role requires proficiency in CorelDRAW and a strong eye for spacing, hierarchy, and typography. You will review orders, communicate with customers, and manage proofs before production.

Qualifications

• Experience in Graphic Design or related field.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW for vector artwork.
• Experience in layouts for engraving, UV, and print.
• Strong understanding of spacing, alignment, hierarchy, and visual balance.
• Ability to translate customer requests into production-ready designs.
• Strong attention to detail in spelling, grammar, formatting, and layout.

Responsibilities

• Review order details, customer notes, and attachments before starting each design.

• Create artwork files with proper naming and storage standards.

Job description

Are you a detail-oriented Graphic Artist who enjoys creating clean, professional, and production-ready designs?

Office Beacon Philippines is looking for a Graphic Artist to join our team.

Role Overview

As a Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating accurate and professional layouts for plaques, awards, plates, and other customized products. You will work closely with Sales and customers to ensure that designs are properly reviewed, approved, and ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Review order details, customer notes, and attachments before starting each design.

• Locate and utilize previous layouts when applicable.

• Create artwork files following proper naming and file storage standards.

• Design and typeset layouts based on Sales direction and customer requirements.

• Create clear and professional layouts for plaques, awards, and plates.

• Communicate with Sales and customers when clarification is needed.

• Upload and send proofs through ProofStuff for customer approval.

• Apply revisions accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain proper version control for proofs and artwork files.

• Attach the FINAL approved proof and production-ready files to the order.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or a related field.

• Proficiency in CorelDRAW, particularly for creating and editing vector artwork.

• Experience in creating layouts for engraving, UV, and print is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of spacing, alignment, hierarchy, and visual balance.

• Ability to interpret customer request and convert them into clean, production-ready designs.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly with spelling, grammar, formatting, and layout accuracy.

• Excellent file organization and naming convention practices.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Confidence to ask questions and request clarification rather than making assumptions.

Preferred Software & Systems Experience

Experience with the following is highly preferred:

• CorelDRAW – Vector artwork, engraving, UV, and print layouts

• ShopWorks – Orders, attachments, notes, and job specifications

• ProofStuff – Proof uploads, version control, and customer approvals

The role requires the ability to review order information, manage artwork versions, and ensure that all required proofs and final files are properly attached before production.
