Author Solutions Philippines Inc. is seeking a Graphic Design and Client Relations Consultant to craft layouts using Adobe InDesign, manage author connections, and ensure brand-aligned visual solutions. The role combines design execution with direct author communication.

You will work onsite in Cebu IT Park, with graveyard shift hours, and collaborate closely to meet clients' goals while maintaining high standards of quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts/Advertising/Multimedia or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, PageMaker, and InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Use Adobe InDesign to create initial and revision layouts based on formatting and specs.
• Apply and alter template styles according to authors' requirements.
• Generate PDFs that meet printer requirements and fix issues.
• Act as the primary contact for assigned authors and manage client relationships.

Graphic Design and Client Relations Consultant

This role combines strong visual design skills with client-facing mindset, ensuring that creative solutions align closely with authors' goals and brand identity. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs while also serving as a key point of contact for authors –understanding their needs, managing expectations, and building long term relationships.

A day in the life of a Graphic Design and Client Relations Consultant includes . .

• Using Adobe InDesign to create the initial and revision layouts based on set formatting and technical specifications provided by the author
• Making sound design decisions about potential layout issues based on standard operating procedures for design-related work
• Applying and/or altering template styles according to an author’s requirements
• Generating PDF files that meet printer requirements
• Troubleshooting errors that may occur either because of the author’s files or software issues
• Extracting RTF files for content evaluation
• Evaluating images submitted by an author to ensure these meet printing requirements
• Fixing old files to meet standards for resubmission to printer
• Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned authors throughout the design process
• Understanding authors' needs, objectives, and feedback to ensure satisfaction and long term success
• Fostering trust and collaboration with authors through proactive communication and excellent service

• Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts/Advertising/Multimedia or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design is required; a strong portfolio showcasing a range of work is highly preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications, Adobe Photoshop, PageMaker, InDesign
• The willingness and ability to work onsite (Cebu IT Park) and in a graveyard schedule; preferably from Cebu but open to outside Cebu applicants
• A good understanding of proofreading symbols
• Above-average comprehension and excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas and designs directly to foreign clients
• A keen eye for details, are a team player, and have the ability to multitask
• Proven client-facing experience, including direct communication, presentation, and relationship management with clients
