Job summary

UNDP Philippines invites applications for a Grants Officer to coordinate and manage the EU-GEPP SO2 grant component, liaising with national and local partners, CSOs and UNDP CO. The position requires an advanced degree or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience, and fluency in English and Filipino.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (master's or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering, Climate Change Adaptation or Environment Management or Disaster Risk Reduction.
• Or a first-level university degree in the listed fields with an additional two years of qualifying experience.
• If holding a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the Grants Component of the EU-GEPP SO2 project in liaison with national and local partners.
• Engage with national and subnational government partners, CSOs, UNDP CO, and donors to design and implement grant activities.
• Lead the design, launch, and evaluation of grant calls, including criteria, selection processes and grant management templates.
• Ensure timely monitoring, reporting, and governance of grant awards, budgets, and risk logs.
• Prepare grant program status reports to project governance bodies and ensure compliance with UNDP rules.
