Job summary

V2X Inc in the Philippines is seeking a Welder to join the maintenance team. The role involves fabricating and repairing metal components for machine parts, plant equipment, motors, and generators using brazing, arc and gas welding processes.

You will follow layouts and work orders, conduct heat cutting and grinding, and ensure parts meet quality standards. The ideal candidate has NC I welder certification, basic English communication, and the ability to read technical documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must provide copy of certificates.
• Must have valid welder’s certification (NC I).
• Certified welder with AWS Code knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret reports/documents.
• Intermediate English communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Welds metal components according to layouts, blueprints or work orders using brazing and arc/gas welding equipment.
• Performs thermal cutting, grinding, repairs of parts and assemblies; prepares components for welding.
• May locate and repair cracks in engine cylinder heads and meet certification standards.
