Job summary

V2X is seeking a skilled welder to fabricate and repair metal components at our Philippines facility. You will read layouts, use brazing and arc/gas welding processes, and perform necessary cutting, grinding, and alignment to ensure high-quality welds.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma with NC I certification, has at least three years of welding experience, and can communicate in English. This on-site role requires physical endurance and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and provide copies of certificates.
• Minimum of three years welding experience with diverse welding processes.
• Must be able to pass and maintain AWS Welding Code Certifications.
• Intermediate English communication skills; basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Welds metal components to fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders using brazing and arc/gas welding.
• Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting, grinding, and repairing parts; positions and clamps components for welding.
• Locates and repairs cracks in engine cylinders or components as needed and may need to pass tests to meet certification standards.
