Job summary

Höegh Evi Ltd. in the Philippines is seeking a Purchaser to manage end-to-end purchasing for assigned vessels, ensuring timely, compliant and cost-effective procurement, supplier coordination, and logistics follow-up in line with company governance.

You will handle requisitions, purchase orders, delivery monitoring, invoicing follow-up, and support customs readiness, while maintaining audit-ready records and collaborating with internal stakeholders across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, shipping, accounts payable, or a related field.
• Experience in logistics coordination and freight invoice processing is preferred.
• Strong ownership and detail orientation.
• Ability to work across cultures and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing for assigned vessels, from requisition to purchase order follow‑up.
• Ensure purchases meet cost, quality, quantity, delivery and specification standards.
• Coordinate with approved suppliers on quotations, confirmations, updates and discrepancies.
• Perform logistics follow-up and processing, representing approximately 25% of the role.
• Monitor shipments, delivery status, documentation readiness and logistics handovers.
• Support customs readiness through required shipping and trade‑compliance information.
• Handle invoicing follow‑up by verifying invoices against purchase orders and receipts.
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate recurring risks or delivery issues.
