Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking a Global Director - Tax to lead our international tax function, govern compliance, manage risk, and shape strategy across multiple jurisdictions from our Manila hub. This role partners with senior leadership, oversees audits, cross-border tax, and tax technology initiatives while guiding dispersed teams and external advisors to support growth and transformation.

The ideal candidate has a CPA or equivalent, 5–8 years of progressive tax experience including 3–5 years in

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Taxation, Finance or related field.
CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
5-8 years progressive tax experience, 3-5 years in senior leadership/global role.
Experience with audits, tax controversy, and regulatory interpretation.
Strong leadership of geographically dispersed teams and executive stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight of global tax operations, compliance and governance.
Lead tax planning initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
Develop tax policies, processes and internal controls to mitigate risk.
Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Manage tax audits, assessments and regulatory inquiries; liaise with external advisors.
Support cross-border tax matters and international expansion initiatives.
Lead, coach and develop geographically distributed teams; collaborate with senior leadership.
