Job summary

Biitech Solutions is seeking an experienced Global Director – Tax to lead tax strategy, compliance, controversy, and tax operations across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with Finance, Legal, HR, Procurement, Operations, and other stakeholders to support international growth.

The role requires directing tax audits, transfer pricing, and tax accounting, while guiding regional teams and coordinating with local consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Taxation, Law, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification strongly preferred.
• Legal tax background or taxation degree is advantageous.
• 5–8 years of progressive tax experience, including 3–5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Experience overseeing US and India tax compliance through local consultants or advisory firms.
• Working knowledge of Philippine, US, and Indian tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead global and regional tax strategy, compliance, and governance.
• Oversee tax audits, assessments, controversies, research, and interpretation of tax laws.
• Manage tax compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions, including the United States and India.
• Partner with local tax consultants, advisors, and external firms.
• Provide tax guidance for cross-border transactions and international business activities.
• Lead and develop geographically distributed tax teams.
• Support organizational design, capability development, and succession planning.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, HR, and Operations on tax-related matters.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, legal-entity restructuring, international expansion, and tax operating-model transformation.
• Implement tax technology, automation, compliance calendars, and tax-control frameworks.
• Provide executive-level tax reporting, recommendations, and risk assessments.
• Oversee transfer pricing and tax accounting activities, including ASC 740 where applicable.
