Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre in the Philippines is seeking an Associate Manager - Global Tax based in Manila or Cebu to oversee tax compliance and reporting for the global business and divisions. You will lead a global tax team across Australia, UK, and North America, drive process improvement, manage stakeholders, and ensure alignment with the Group tax control framework.

CPA/CMA required, 8 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or accounting
• CPA or CMA or related finance certification
• 8 years of relevant experience in tax
• Experience in global tax, audits, and reporting

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of tax services across divisions globally
• Stakeholder management with Divisional and Functional Heads of Taxes
• Lead capacity planning, staffing, and succession for the global tax team
• Drive process optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with QBE policies and Group tax control framework
