Job summary

Synchrony in the Philippines seeks an AVP Sourcing to lead end-to-end sourcing for global hubs (US and Philippines), ensuring supplier onboarding compliance and risk mitigation. You will oversee regulatory compliance and contract reviews, guiding cross-functional teams to align with business needs.

The role requires 8+ years in sourcing within financial services, with experience in category management, negotiations, and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum 8 years of experience in financial services or insurance (Supplier Risk Management, Operations, Customer Service, Collections).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience within Sourcing (category management, contract negotiations, supply chain management, supplier management, logistics).

Responsibilities

• Meet with business owners and Sourcing Leaders to guide functional teams and develop comprehensive plans.
• Expertise on global supply markets (US and Philippines) and local supplier compliance.
• Drive sourcing initiatives to deliver productivity and cost savings.
• Review and modify contractual terms with Legal and business owners.
• Oversee supplier compliance with regulatory and reputational requirements.
