Job summary

EatClub is seeking a senior Finance professional to lead a 4-person team, oversee procure-to-pay, payroll across entities, and ensure accurate month-end close. This role supports IFRS group reporting and tax compliance across AUS/NZ/UK regions.

You will drive process improvements, manage risk, and work with a global finance team. Strong English communication and full-time Australia-business-hours availability are required.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of Big 4 experience in Audit and Assurance.
• Degree in Accounting or CA/CPA qualification.
• Experience operating across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Experience using cloud-based accounting software (Xero).
• Prior experience supporting accounting, finance operations, or shared services teams.
• Experience with AUS, NZ & UK indirect tax and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4, fostering accountability and technical excellence.
• Oversee procure-to-pay function, with accurate processing and reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close and reporting timeliness and accuracy.
• Support monthly accruals to ensure correct period recognition.
• Review and manage payroll across entities/countries for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger with journals, reconciliations and reviews.
• Support consolidated financial statements and IFRS group reporting.
