Job summary

TaskUs in the Philippines seeks a Physical Safety and Security Manager to implement environmental health and safety strategies, design risk-reduction policies, and oversee day-to-day operations across locations in the region.

You will train teams, engage with operations and senior leaders to maintain a safe workplace, manage crisis response, and report issues weekly while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Business, or related subjects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Physical Security or Public Service.
• Interpersonal skills, tact, and empathy.
• Charismatic and welfare-focused leadership.
• Good judgment and critical thinking during disasters.
• Experience solving complex problems; disaster response preferred.
• Physically fit and available 24/7 plus travel readiness.
• Willing to travel at least 50% of the time.
• Emergency management expertise and safety prioritization.
• Business acumen and OSHA certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 2–3 years in Public Safety or Red Cross training related safety.
• Knowledge of security and environmental hazards.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary training to drive innovative thinking and high-quality technical project management capability.
• Ensure your team applies market knowledge, customer insights, and technical knowledge for site project execution.
• Partner with Operations and senior leaders to keep employees safe inside TaskUs premises.
• In crisis situations, speak to crowds and inspire others to take ownership.
• Strategic and dynamic safety measures inside and outside the workplace.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports identifying issues and escalate to management.
• Attend Leadership Meetings and calibrate with teams to ensure a safe workplace.
